Oliver's comment made Penelope's face flush a deeper red color and she found herself embarrassed by it. Tentatively, she grinned and thanked him for the compliment. It wasn't that she wasn't used to compliments once in awhile, it was just that she didn't really expect that particular one from Oliver to make her blush. Subconsciously, she blamed the fact that it had been ages since she'd had any real male attention.
Shaking off her thoughts on that subject, Penelope bent over to lean her elbows on the counter top. "I'd love that. I doubt I'd be horrible at it, I just haven't had patience for baking lately. The last batch of biscuits I made came out a bit too crunchy. I like them soft, you know?"
