"That sounds great!" he replied, with atad more enthusiasm than he'd meant add. He nodded and turned his head as a hint of blush colored his cheeks, "We can go into the cafe if you like," he added, as he gestured to the establishment they stood by. He made a small open hand gesture again, to invite her to walk in front of him.
"Ladies first," he said as he let her go and he moved to her side, "You look happy," he said, glancing at her with a smile, "How,s work going?" He asked, "I'm sure I've seen you about. Do you work close by?"
He didn't want to admit that he'd noticed her every time he'd seen her but had not had the couage to interrupt her usual direct path. Or the times he had caught sight of her, he had been busy with customers. He would usually try yo watch where she went but would lose sight or be interrupted, needing to help someone.
