It was nearing lunchtime and Mandy's stomach was rumbling. It was rather embarrassing, actually, the loud grumblings that announced she was definitely feeling peckish. Perhaps the light breakfast she'd rushed through before dashing off to work this morning hadn't been nearly enough.
With a brief word to the shopgirl she had helping out from time to time (Mandy couldn't be in both shops at once, after all, or in either shop every moment they were open), she made her way outside. Mandy smiled as she stepped onto the street. It was a lovely day. Really, it was too nice to be cooped up indoors and she thought maybe she might arrange to leave early. Maybe she'd even grab her broom and do some flying. It had been an eternity and that old relic was in sorry shape, but she couldn't help feeling that itch to fly again every so often.
He thoughts came to a halt, however, as she started towards one of the cafes only to almost bump right into Neville. Luckily, she saw him in time to avoid a collision and she smiled brightly at him. "Hullo, Neville! How are you today?"
