Mags was nice enough, and he'd finally gotten her name right about a year ago, but he definitely wasn't looking for anything more than what he had. Verity was handful enough for two men!
He squeezed her shoulder and kissed her forehead, then took a long drink of his beer. He figured if he was quiet, she'd get around to it.
