Re: Seamus, Sam, and Gryffindors
"Brilliant. I was worried we'd have a few jumping out wanting to fight that shouldn't be fighting." The Death Eaters would've eaten some of the first and second years alive.
"Probably," he said, thinking about it. "But if, God forbid, happen to the castle and he was stuck in here, I'd never forgive myself. He's familiar with the hut and the woods, he could always retreat there if he has to."
Seamus gave Sam a hug. "Thanks, Sammy. And you should really try to get to Pomfrey to get healed before you start fighting anyone." He gave her a smile and pulled away, shrinking down to fox-form quickly.
Once she turned, they ran through the hallways and back to the tower, where they found the Fat Lady hiding behind some bushes. Seamus changed back in front of her, and once she realized they were students, let them in without the password. "Wait here," he said to weasel Sam, then ran up to the dorms quickly.
Seamus found Fang on his bed, all over his pillows. Normally he'd be upset, but this wasn't the time. "Come on boy. We're going back to Hagrid's. You should be safe there."
Since he started making full changes, Seamus would change around Fang so he would get used to his fox form. So he changed back down, and the two ran quickly down the steps and out of the portrait, running past Sam, figuring she would catch up.
