Ernie, Audrey, and Hufflepuffs
When the notice came, Aud sprang into action, forcibly pushing her nerves aside. If she gave herself a moment to think, she'd never be able to do what needed to be done. She'd just hide away somewhere with Fi, clinging to her while others fought for them. And she couldn't allow that. She had to prove that McGonagall and Sam were right to believe in her, that Fi was right to love her. She had to fight so things could be right, she had to fight for Fi.
Gathering her strength, she kissed Fiona, grabbing her in the middle of the common room and snogging her deeply, telling her she loved her before they separated. Fi went with the older students, heading down to fight and Audrey followed Ernie, leading the younger children out and upstairs, to the Room and the safety beyond.
