Re: Seamus, Sam, and Gryffindors
After Seamus posted up his note to the Animagi and Gryffindors, he quickly grabbed what he needed - his wand, and a spare set of clothing. While his possible nakedness was the last thing he needed to worry about, he also didn't want to get his bits blown off by a Death Eater.
There were some frighten faces mixed among the anxious ones. He just hoped that everyone would keep a clear head and follow his instructions, otherwise some people were going to get hurt. He would never forgive himself if that would happen.
Once they were all gathered, with the exception of a few DA students that he figured wouldn't be there because they were getting into the hallways, Seamus cleared his throat loudly and jumped onto the table in the middle of the room.
"Alright. We don't have much time so listen close. Death Eaters, more of them, are on their way to the castle. There's a group of us staying to fight, and if you think you want to stay you can. But we won't look down upon you if you want to be safe. Me and Sam," he said, looking around for Sam and finding her still in a shaken up state from a few days earlier, "are going to be leading the younger students and anyone else out of the castle."
Seamus was pretty sure he heard a first year sniffling, getting ready to cry. "There's one thing though. Myself, Sam, and six others in the school won't exactly be...ourselves. What you're about to see might scare you a bit, but please know that the animals are here to help you."
He climbed down the table and handed his set of clothes to a third year. "I need you to make sure that these get to the final destination, especially my wand. Guard them with your life." She cautiously shook her head yes and took a few steps backward to her friends behind her.
Seamus walked to the portrait entrance and waved his arm to the group. "Whoever is staying to fight, find Ginny Weasley. Good luck. Everyone else, follow me."
He turned to the door, opened it slightly, and closed his eyes. He'd done it enough at this point that he hardly had to think about the change. Before he knew it, he was scurrying out of the common room with a group of Gryffindors behind him, hoping that Sam was in the back to keep them together.
