"Don't point that at me!" Su snarled. She did have the common sense to lower her voice, but her frustration was palpable.
Trying to steady herself, Su took a deep breath and stepped back from Kevin. It hardly seemed to matter who heard her at this point. In a few hours, maybe even a few minutes, everyone would know what was happening. And everyone would have a choice to make. Hopefully, the lower forms would get out before things got too terrible. Either way, everyone should be scared, she thought.
