There was quite a bit she wanted to say, to accuse him of and get angry about. Something was stopping her. She knew that it would not do much good to get into a heated argument, as much as she needed to release her frustrations. They would go back and forth, bickering about issues they'd already hashed out before. More than likely, one or both of them would emotionally shut out the other and everything would be worse than before. Narcissa did not think she could handle things getting any worse between them. This was a true testament to how much she loved her husband. Actually, that was the only silver lining in all of this. She realized how deeply she did love him, for she would not put up with this sort of behavior from anyone else.
"I no longer care about His intentions. Our son's life is still at stake, isn't it? There is no need to focus on anything else." Though were she to be pressed on the subject, she would have to admit that her husband's well-being was a top priority as well. It would be hard for her to go on should something happen to him, save for ensuring Draco's safety. Narcissa looked at him, her blue eyes tired from stress and worry. "I hate to even address such a thing, but I have a feeling that when all of this should occur, your loyalty between your Lord and your family is going to be tested. I know where I stand, but sometimes I question your position."
