A Cattermole ([info]alfiecat) wrote in [info]wished,
Alfie hadn't really been sleeping well, not for the last few weeks. He was worried too much about his sisters, and his mum and dad, and about Audrey, and about Jules stuck in Ravenclaw on his own. And about his friends, Wayne (who was god knew the fuck where) and Drew and Ozzie and everyone. Things were really just... well, worse than he'd have ever thought they could be, and he didn't know that anyone outside of Hogwarts even knew!

So he hadn't been sleeping, which left him awake staring out of one of the windows just outside the door to the sixth year boy's room when he heard something like thumping, then a few minutes later a pained sort of moan - was it a moan? - from the common room. He headed that direction without really thinking... and that was when he saw Wayne, tossed over a couch in the common room like he was a broken toy of some sort.

"Fuck! Merlin! Wayne, is that you?" He practically ran to the sofa to check on his mate.
