Kevin smiled and shook his head. Yeah, that's the Drew he was expecting. Whatever he was getting into, Kevin knew he would never be bored by the smaller boy.
"Yeah, I'm good," he chuckled. Kevin gestured with the paper sack under his arm. "Sweets," he said, and he tucked them more protectively between his arm and his body.
"You only get some if it means you're not bouncing off the walls," Kevin teased, sticking his tongue out at Drew.
