Fleur followed behind the attendants as far as she was allowed, becoming increasingly aware of the pain in her back. She had to send out owls, right now. But one of the Healers who had helped move Bill accosted her, and directed her to another ward to have her own injury treated. Despite Fleur's protests, half of which were in a muddled mix of English and French, it was an hour before the Healers deemed her satisfactorily treated - "You're very fortunate, Mrs. Weasley, that this curse only grazed you, or you'd be dealing with some permanent damage." - and allowed her back out into the waiting area.
The wound was throbbing dully, but Fleur didn't want to sit. Instead she wandered into an unoccupied room and cast a patronus charm. The silvery form of a dolphin emerged from the end of her wand. After charging it with a brief account of what had happened and a request that someone check in on the kids at the Cottage, she sent it out. For now, she would limit the recipients to the Weasleys, Minerva, Remus, and, lastly, Hestia who, according to the witch running the desk, was not working tonight. The others could be alerted later, but Fleur felt that the essential people had been informed.
Fleur looked at the clock on the wall when she walked back out into the waiting room. Barely over an hour had passed. When was she going to be allowed to see her husband?
