Depending on who it was doing so, approaching Draco for conversation while he was in the middle of something wasn't always the healthiest course of action. He looked annoyed for a moment as someone said his name, but the scowl faded when he saw who it was. Astoria, even for a fifth year and a girl, did not annoy him half as much as most of the people at this school. In fact, their few conversations over the summer had been rather enjoyable, comparatively.
"It isn't necessary," He said with a small smirk which passed for a smile - actual smiles would look very out of place on him. "My mother seems to believe I'm still an eleven year old when she does her 'care package' shopping."
