Characters: Sam Capper and Ginny Weasley Setting: Wednesday evening in their dorm, following Fleur's post Summary: Ginny's gonna need comforting like woah. Rating: TBD
Sam had been relaxing outside, safe from the post class noise of the crowded common room. Like usual she'd tossed down her journal and let it lay open beside her as she reclined against her tree and smoked, watching the ripples of the lake. When the ward from Ginny popped up she expected a plea for her to come back and snuggle or complaining about something. She didn't expect to see that shaky scrawl spelling out just her name. Reading it caused Sam's stomach to lurch and asking questions didn't help any either.
It only took a few moments for Sam to realise she needed to be upstairs and shoved her things into her bag hastily. She flicked her cigarette away toward the lake and scrabbled in the rocks as she stood and took off running for the castle, flipping her bag over her shoulder as she sprinted up the castle steps.
Sam wasn't built for running and the rush to get all the way to the top of Gryffindor tower wasn't the easiest feet, she slowed down to a walk a couple of times but always fell back into her rush, ignoring the strange looks it earned her. By the time she'd reached the tower she'd already yelled at and threatened a couple of slow moving first years.
"Ginny," Sam burst through the dorm's door and looked around anxiously, eyes glancing between her own bed and her girlfriend's. Before she said another word she rushed to her side and pulled her into her arms, hugging her tightly. "What happened?"
