For a little guy, Drew could run pretty damn fast. Kevin's less-than-active lifestyle meant he struggled to keep up with the darting and dodging Hufflepuff. Staircases in particular presented a challenge, as the five-foot-whatever Drew raced up without any problem, but the almost-six-feet-okay-only-five-ten Kevin huffed and puffed at the top. Were it not for Kevin spying a flash of yellow vanishing around the corner, he might have lost Drew altogether in his pursuit.
Staggering to the end of the impromptu race, Kevin wheezed and straightened up momentarily before bending again from a cramp. He massaged the stitch in his side that the exertion had given rise to.
"Bloody hell, d'you run everywhere you go?" Kevin muttered. His red-with-exercise face blanched when he caught how the question could be taken and he quickly followed it up. "I'm dreadfully out of shape, I can't keep up with you."
