Megan had sighed in relief when her brain finally acknowledged who it was. A smile crept onto her features and her muscles relaxed. For whatever reason her instant thought was one of those awful new 'security' types were telling her to move her pile or something. Course...she wouldn't put it past some priggish Slytherin either. A few of them seemed to be embracing the changes with open arms and even acquired a new pep in their step. It was unsightly to be entirely honest.
Wayne Hopkins, however, was far from unsightly. In fact she definitely preferred looking at him to a number of other people... and things. Things, like this homework she immediately realized wasn't getting done. She really didn't want to be there... and she wondered why she was to begin with.
With an exhausted sort of chuckle she said, "I'm alright." Fiddling with her quill she looked down at her blank papers then back to the boy. "What are you doing?" she asked with a curious almost accusatory tone.
