She made a face at him, clearly not fond of the 'Lord of the Manor' tone. "You're very bossy when you're worried, it'd be cute if it wasn't so high-handed," she pointed out unnecessarily, and pointing out, once again, how well she seemed to know him, almost instinctively.
"Then I'll do something not publicly," she pointed out reasonably. She deflated a little at the reminder that they likely wouldn't want her help. "No. I suppose not. Even if I've never gone after any of them myself, I'm painted with the same brush as the rest of my house." Still, her chin came up a little, a determined glint in her expression. "I'll think of something. I don't know what yet. Something." She tilted her head to the side, studying him and then sighed. "And I promise to talk it over with you, before I do it."
