"I'm glad you find it so amusing," Severus said, lowering his wand sharply and pulling out a battered chair from behind the room's unstable writing desk. "I have always so envied people who can face it all laughing. You make such charming corpses, when the bodies are recovered." He locked his eyes on hers; he didn't have much to fear from her or hers, he thought, but all the same he wanted to know if he was being passed lies. "Sit. - Please." He gripped the back of the chair tightly, waiting for her to take her seat on the bed again. "I have quite a few questions, and not much more than an hour."
