"No harm in waiting," said Tonks, and it was true. For the most part, there had been no change. The contractions had gotten closer together, but not so much that she was in danger of delivering right there in the safe house. "I want to wait a little longer before asking anyone over. Five minutes apart. That should be good, right? And maybe both of them would be a good idea." It would be crowded, but as she'd explained to Hestia, if something happened or Remus fainted, an extra set of hands would be dead useful.
Allowable or not, it was happening, and Tonks wouldn't have been so calm if it was dangerous. After all, she was willing to go to St Mungo's if it was necessary. But only if it was necessary.
She rubbed his back in an attempt to help calm him some. "I want you to take a deep breath and stay with me. We can get my mum and Hestia later, when it's closer. Can you take us back to the flat for now?" She worried that one of the stragglers might be listening in, and the last thing she wanted was an audience to this conversation.
