Re: Alfie/Julien
He'd read practically all the books apart from one or two that were the size of his head and thicker and were refusing to end, had everything packed and ready and didn't really mind about leaving his house for boarding school so much... but Julien's stomach still did a lazy flop over as he stood outside the train with his case and looked up at it.
He felt something very much like panic curling and uncurling in his chest and he had no idea why because he wasn't a frightened and bewildered first year anymore... he wanted a Daydream Charm for the train ride but he'd used his last one yesterday instead and he didn't have the money or the time to get anymore. Biting his lip, one that was already pretty well-bitten, he boarded the train and then sidled and sidestepped through the aisles (there were way too many people on the train this year, double what there had been last... right? It felt that way anyway...) and when he caught sight of the slightly curly dark locks of his new tenuous friend he breathed a sigh of relief - and he'd be lying if he said it wasn't because Alfie was sitting alone and not with a pack of friends - before almost falling into the carriage and sliding himself along the seat. "Hey." was all he said with a slightly harried looking smile.
