The moment Roger felt George stop his minute's struggle and started to kiss back, was the moment that he released George and pulled away. Anyone that walked in then wouldn't have to think hard before guessing what they had been doing. Roger was panting a little bit and his lips had gone all red like they did after a good long kiss.

He was grinning.

"Didn't expect that, did you?" He had gotten the jump on George and, really, how many people could say that? "Now admit that I'm attractive, so I can go home."

This game of flirtation that they had been playing at for the past few months was just that. A game. Roger had escalated it, certainly, but he didn't expect their friendship to change at all.
