And so Penny had been wrong in assuming Roger had forgotten and moved on to better things. It was more than fair of him to want the kiss. In a way, Penny actually thought she was getting off easy. That didn't make the fact that she had to kiss him less worrisome. Silently, she was calculating when she had last kissed someone. A proper kiss, not just a peck on the cheek or something quick against the lips. Suffice it to say that it had been a very long time.
"Here I thought you had decided to let me slide," she chuckled. If not for the several drinks, it would've been a nervous sort of sound. Instead, it was carefree and unrestrained.
"What?" Penny asked, confused by what Roger was suggested until she turned and looked in the same direction as him. "Oh, yes, they seem to be having a blast." Given that most of the men in that group were two times the size of Penny, she had to turn down Roger's offer. "No, not really. Believe it or not, but I'd actually like to be able to get myself home at the end of the night."
