"You know how to make a bloke feel good, Greengrass," Dean told her with a sigh that was half laugh. She was utterly unlike Dean in almost every way, and it left him without ever really knowing WHAT she'd say or do, or how she'd react. He couldn't say he didn't like it, but it was hard to stand on solid ground, too.
"Well, not much chance of that, was there? Beautiful girl, sense of humor, ace snogger." Dean shook his head. "I don't know, Daph. What we SHOULD do is just ignore it, right? But I don't seem to be doing that, and you don't seem to quite want me to."
He smiled. "I would probably have wanted to fuss over you, if I saw you like that, anyway. So probably a good thing I didn't."
