Kevin smiled inwardly at Alfie's compliment. Still, though, Transfiguration was one of his better subjects, and paper into paper shouldn't be that difficult.
"Thanks. And if you're blowing up paper, mate, you really need some help," he added with a chuckle. "Yeah, rosebushes sound good. And if it rains, I can transfigure you a... well, a paper hat. Although that wouldn't be too helpful, would it?"
The thought crossed his mind, maybe Alfie really did need Transfigs help. He didn't remember seeing the kid around the classroom, and Kevin's NEWT class was right before the sixth-years' section. But hey, there must have been a Puff or two who could tutor him if he needed it.
Kevin surreptitiously looked for any observant professors before tapping the newspaper and returning it to its original form. Standing up, Kevin pocketed the cards and gestured toward Alfie.
