Alfie looked confused, but that wasn't an uncommon look for him. He didn't know if they'd get in trouble either for playing cards, though, so he was glad that Kevin was quick thinking enough to take care of it instead. He looked at the odd-looking newspaper curiously, reaching and looking at a few lines of text before he laughed and stood up from the table.
"That's a good transfiguration, though." He sounded adequately impressed. "I couldn't think fast enough to do something like that. It would end up blowing up on me or something." Mostly because he was sort of rubbish at most of his classes, but he didn't feel the need to say that.
"Where do you want to go instead? It's not bad outside, is it? We could play out by the rosebushes."
