Marcus listened, carefully and with surprising interest. He wasn't much of a people person, he mostly didn’t give a damn about what others liked, simply cause they didn’t care for him either and they weren't close enough to bother. But Charlie talking about dragons reminded him of himself when he was speaking about Quidditch.
"I thought about doing something else. Ya know how they say doing something too much makes you dislike it?" He grinned. "Well...I appear to be lucky it's not happening to me and Quidditch." Now...He did not have a single clue why he was telling something so personal (For Marcus it is very very personal) with a Gryffindor he usually never talked to. "Anyway..." Marcus wasn't comfortable on personal ground and now tried to change the topic. "Very glad it's working out for you. Even if I still think you should have played Quidditch."
He looked around and shrugged. "Good question. I couldn't have possibly assumed I'd get anything here that I don't get in Diagon..." He smirked. "Sentimental, I guess. Just now I can get pissed without hiding from Professors."
