Marcus could have just gone to Quality for Quidditch in Diagon Alley, it was much closer to home, but somehow visiting Hogsmeade again after so long sounded more tempting than that street full of mud-bloods. Maybe he would have thought his decision over if he had known it was Hogwarts Hogsmeade weekend, but now it was too late anyway.
He had headed straight for the Quidditch shop after apparating to the village. After seeing so many students outside on the streets, he would have expected the store to be crowded as well, but luckily it wasn't. That was exactly why it startled him a little when someone talked to him all of a sudden.
Marcus turned to face Charlie, dark brow rising slowly. "Weasley..." Even if Marcus had forgotten about the former Gryffindor captain, his awful hair colour would have given him away anyway. "It's great." Marcus answered, keeping himself from elaborating that. "Always wondered why you didn't do it." he admitted. "Gryffindor's golden boy of Quidditch..."
Despite the fact that Charlie was a Gryffindor, Marcus had always respected the other for his skills as a Seeker and back at school he would have taken pretty much any bet that Weasley would join a professional team. Just proved how little Marcus knew about the other, not like it mattered though.
