Impressed, Charlie nodded as Fred spoke, "I've gone inside the Hogsmeade shop once or twice." Keeping up with Potterwatch was something Charlie tried to do when he could, usually letting the radio play in the background as he completed his grading for assignments or while writing quizzes. Charlie just wanted to teach and not worry about turning it into a 'real' class. However, he knew that a few students were interested in making a career with animals, so he put more effort into it for them.
"You two have something to offer that no one else can," Charlie shrugged, seeing a mother with her young son laughing at something that hung on the wall. "Growing up, you two were often an annoyance, but this, Fred, what you and George created and worked for... it's a bright spot, all things considered." Charlie did not want to talk about the war; he wanted to talk about the shop, about Quidditch, and possibly drag his brothers out for dinner.
"And if the galleons are rolling in, then you're going to buy my dinner," he grinned, finally placing his own arm around Fred. "But, in case your mind wandered, it's going to be real food and not something you or George had anything to do with."
