All week, Fleur had been very much looking forward to the prospect of guests. It would be wonderful to see friends, especially as she hadn't seen Charlie since the wedding, and Tonks since the holidays. Tonight, she hoped, would afford an opprotunity to catch up with them and strengthen ties.

Aside from that, a large part of Fleur was eager to show off her home. She took a lot of pride in Shell Cottage and what she and Bill had done with it. Much of Sunday had been spent tidying up and adding a few extra touches here and there. After getting dinner started in the kitchen, Fleur had decided to take a half hour for a quick bath. She had just finished dressing when she heard Bill's voice.

Fleur exited the bathroom, making a note to use a quick drying charm on her hair before anyone arrived.

"Right here," she said as she rounded the corner into the kitchen, smiling at Bill's eagerness to be of assistance. Taking the wine bottles from him, she set them on the counter and took a look at how things were coming along. "Hm. I think, for now, all that is left to do is set the table. The meal is still cooking but I do not think they will wish to eat right away. Perhaps we should put some glasses and some lighter things to eat out in the living room?"
