Winged horses, Merlin had class been brilliant! Care of Magical Creatures had to be one of Lavender's favorite classes, next to Divination of course. While she didn't like getting dirty too much, she was fearless. Lavender loved animals, and animals usually took a keen liking to her. As Professor Weasley dismissed the class, a lot of her fellow students immediately dashed off to the castle, but Lavender lingered a bit. One winged horse in particular liked nuzzling against her neck, and every time she tried to take a step back, and horse would take two steps forward and nuzzle her again.
Giggling, a hand raised to brush through the chestnut mane of the creature. "You know, I can't stand here forever. I understand you like the apple scent of my hair, but this relationship can't last. You're a horse, I'm a girl." The Aethonan just made a noise and remained glued to her side.
"You know, Professor Weasley, I don't think there is a rule against keeping horses in the common room, is there?" Giggling again, bright brown eyes darted to look over at the professor, before back at the Aethonan. "I have to give you credit, sir, out of all the professors who have ever taken up this job, you seem to do it with more ease than them." Giggling again as the horse nuzzling a bit more forcefully against her hair, Lavender began to pry herself away from the Aethonan only to have the creature try and nuzzle her once more.
"By the by, as long as you promise that I won't get hurt by a Billywig, I'll volunteer to get stung." A bright smile flashed over her face, as she tried to shake her blonde hair out of her face only for it to fall in her gaze as the Aethonan nudged her again.
