Nikolas did have a point. No matter what the house did or could possible do in the future, it would be impossible for the rest of Hogwarts to trust them. At least, it seemed that way lately. The tensions among the houses had only risen since their return from winter holiday. She propped her elbow on the table and let her chin rest in her palm.
"I think overtime the rest of them will come to understand that you're not exactly the evil incarnate," she told him, a slight laugh accompanying. A part of her wished that the social issues hanging between the houses didn't exist. Just because you were in Slytherin didn't mean you were some terrible person.
"I'm really excited about how things are panning out," she continued, nodding her head. "And I'm glad you're doing it."
She chewed on the side of her cheek as she scrunched her nose.
"I've only produced a real corporeal patronus twice. Though I've never actually had the reason, of course. It's a doe. At least that's what it appears to be."
