A slight flush crept up the back of her neck as she caught sight of Nikolas rising from his seat and making his way toward her. Since the other night, she found that she didn't hide just how excited she was to see him anymore. She found no reason to. Granted, she didn't go about running in the hallways shouting her feelings from the rooftops - she still kept to herself most of the time.
The idea that they now kept a secret between them gave Lucy a feeling that she was getting one over on the rest of her classmates. Of course, Branwen and Roger both knew but they hardly counted. They knew everything that she did. Except, of course, of her Animagus studies. But McGonagall was rather frightening in comparison to Nikolas.
Lucy had been in the process of returning the greeting when she felt herself pulled closer toward him. She draped one arm around the nape of his neck while the other settled against his chest. She giggled quietly against his lips before returning his kiss with fervor. She had been wanting to do this all day.
"Hello you," she greeted finally, once she pulled her face back.
