Puck still didn't know how he was going to get through this dinner. He didn't know how Jeff had managed to talk her into giving him another chance. Puck didn't know what he was doing. He didn't know why he thought this was going to work. He didn't even know why he had told Jeff about it in the first place. Mostly because he didn't think he could do it. Be a boyfriend, and that's what you had to be when you were with Quinn. He wished that he had a magic wand to wave so he could be more knowledgeable about what he would have to do.
She had said dinner, so he decided he would take her to TGI Friday's. Mostly because it was good, and it was still something he could afford. Not to mention, he could use his fake ID. Puck wasn't sure it would be a good idea to get wasted, but he was going to need a little bit to get warmed up and really do this. He knew that they were going to have to be civil to each other, too. That was always hard for them to do. Puck didn't know why, and he didn't know why he got Quinn as well as he did. It's not like he really knew how to get her to admit that she was that girl, that one that liked to pretend she was something she wasn't. Puck didn't really know why she did that. It was incredibly hard to get to know her when she did stuff like that.
He got ready, he didn't know how dressed up he had to be, because he wasn't used to actual dates. He didn't know how to dress for them. In the end, he opted for a nice pair of jeans and a dress shirt. He brushed his mowhawk so it was as neat as possible, grabbed a jacket, and headed out. He was meeting Quinn at the restaurant, it was easiest. He grabbed the subway, and hoped he'd be on time. He had taken a little longer than he wanted to get ready. This was going to be all kinds of awkward, at least at first. How did you date your baby mama?
