Remus had been really surprised when Albus had asked him to teach at Hogwarts. The fact that he was a werewolf never had bothered the older Wizard, but it bothered him. What if something went wrong? What if one day Severus would make a mistake with the Wolfsbane? What if as a wolf he turned or killed a student? He knew he shouldn't worry so much, but he did. He always worried.
He had tried to keep all thoughts of Sirius at bay, the news of his former classmate, friend and lover escaping from Azkaban was hard on him. He hadn't believed his mate could kill so many but there was evidence and then there was the fact that only Sirius knew where Lily and James with their little baby were. All these facts had made him doubt the man he loved, made him doubt his own mind and heart.
He was hurting inside and he worried so much that by the time he was in the train travelling to Hogwarts he was so tired that he was sleeping in the compartment. He was grateful that he woke up in time to safe Harry and his friends.
Now he was at Hogwarts and except a certain few of the staff nobody knew what he was. He taught his classes and made sure to keep a careful eye on Harry and help him prepare for dementors as best as he could.
