Re: Nico
Alex was happy to help Cassie; in addition to setting out the platter of appetizers that Cassie had made, Alex didn’t mind keeping an eye on the rest of the food while they put the finishing touches on everything. The kitchen was good for socializing; enough people passed through that she could hand out hugs and conversation with ease and there were enough people around that she could venture out and mingle when she wanted to.
Which she did, when she realized that there was one sibling she hadn’t seen, yet.
Alex had thought about it, but then decided that she didn’t want to bother Nico while he was getting settled in, because sometimes she could be a thoughtful person who respected personal boundaries. When he staked his claim in a public area, though, she her focus became sharp.
When she reached the couch, Alex sat down on the arm and half fell, half slid into Nico’s space, her arms wrapping around his shoulders in a hug while she peppered his forehead with kisses. “Hello, Nico Thorne.” Pulling him close, one of her hands wrapped around his face and covered his eyes. “Do I need to lock your phone away?”
