Jamie took several deeps breaths as he walked the short distance from his front door to his kitchen, trying to regulate his breathing for a lengthy discussion, and pulled a bottle of water from the fridge. It wasn't until after he'd taken a long pull that he finally answered the other hunter.
"Yes," was the simple reply. Clearly, Jamie had underestimated Bri's attachment to what was ultimately her territory. He understood that she was obligated to continue her colleague's work, which obviously included eliminating threats to the community. Jamie wouldn't deny that Bishop was a huge threat, but… something was different this time around.
Coming around from the kitchen, the hunter leaned against the counter that separated the kitchen from the living room, a sign escaping him. Setting the water on the surface, he turned to face Bri and took a seat on the bar stool he had made shortly after arriving to Willow Creek.
"Look… Bishop is usually more of a jerk when he interacts with me. Something's different this time around."
