Thrice the brinded cat hath mew'd WHO Rebecca Delaney OT Hadley Cross WHAT Hadley arrives! WHERE Willow Creek Bus Station WHEN Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016 ~5:26pm WARNINGS TBD
For late March, it was chillier than average for Willow Creek. Well, that was what Rebecca had discovered on a random fact-finding excursion on the Internet (the curse of the ever curious mind) so when she returned to the apartment after being at school all day, the witch had exchanged her work appropriate dress for a pair of well-worn jeans and a graphic tee that read DON'T MAKE ME GET MY FLYING MONKEYS beneath a gray sweater duster that hit her mid-thigh. She was just zipping up the last zipper of a black pair of ankle boots when her phone chirped to notify her that she needed to pick up Hadley from the bus station.
A happy yet nervous feeling of butterflies fluttering in her stomach took hold of Rebecca as she grabbed her purse and dropped her phone into it on her way out the door. While she had kept in regular touch with her baby sister, it was one thing to text each other over Facebook and quite another to actually talk to each other face-to-face. Rebecca was just very excited to be able to see her second best friend on as regular a basis as she did her husband. Since moving to Willow Creek, Rebecca had missed Hadley a lot.
She turned into the parking lot of the bus station about 25 minutes after five and pulled into a parking space. There was about five minutes to kill before Hadley's bus was due to arrive, if it was on time that is. Or was that trains? Picking up the coffee tray she had gotten at Deja Brew, Rebecca slipped out of the car and headed toward the station.
