Bake Off WHO Xander Kingston OT Willow Collins WHAT It's the Great American Baking Challenge WHERE Kingston Manor WHEN Sunday, March 20, 2016 ~2pm (backdated) WARNINGS TBD
Although it had been over a month since the speed dating event at Deja Brew, Xander hadn't forgotten the discussion he'd had with the young witch he'd met. She'd been quite charming, in a sweet and innocent way, and they'd had a moment of bonding over baked goods that had led him to making an offer of exchanging confections at some point in time. Over the last several weeks, he'd been busy with the plans for Kingston Technologies and the campus that was well on its way toward completion now, and then there was the small matter of Ashley Crane. He wasn't at all sure what to do when it came to that particular blonde witch. But it was a Sunday and things had died down enough that, upon waking, he'd found the card where he'd written Willow's number and decided to call her up and invite her over, if she had no other plans for the afternoon.
Kingston Manor was a large estate. It had been standing for a hundred years, and would probably last over a hundred more. Now that Xander was in residence once more, Stewart had seen to fully staffing the household. However, because it was Sunday, most of them had the day off. That meant that the large kitchen wasn't bustling with activity, no meals were being prepped, and everything was spotless. For the moment. He doubted it would look the same in a few hours.
He'd told Stewart to show the girl to the kitchen as soon as she arrived. Until then, Xander grabbed an apple from the bowl of fruit on the counter and flipped through some of the other recipes in the old, hand-written book he'd pulled from his library.
