Raksha had requested this meeting. Ben didn't really want to meet with the man, or anyone at the moment, save for Giselle, but he'd agreed in an effort to keep up appearances. Raksha had never wronged Ben, so it felt rude to refuse. But if Raksha expected Ben to make an effort beyond that, he was sure to be disappointed. Ben wasn't about to offer up any details about what he was dealing with. He didn't know Raksha well enough to trust him with even the most basic information.
Silence ensued. Ben looked out the window, watching the world pass by. He missed the country. He missed his horses. He also missed Daniel.
