Asher had known William for a long time. They had been in the same year in school, started as agents together and were now teaching at the same time. It was only natural that he knew about Williams unconventional start to life and the hell that had followed. "You were pretty beat up," Asher commented idol. "How are you feeling by the way? You look fine, but I know injuries like that can take a long time to heal." Quite frankly he felt a bit rude for not asking sooner.
"I honestly don't think I have much of a choice." He moved his hands idly over the surface of the water as he thought. "It's either that or a safe house and safe houses are awful." He'd much rather be stuck on campus working the logistics side of the missions and teaching then go back to a stuffy safe house again. "Though I guess safe house is better than cage."
