Asher had never carved a pumpkin and nor did he ever want too. The whole practice seemed disgusting and down right trivial, why would he carve something only to have it rot days later. Maybe it was just being his usual cynical self, didn't matter anyways. He was going to work out instead. He figured all the students would be busy and he might be able to get in a half decent session without being pestered.
It wasn't often he got to use the swimming pool, while his scars weren't something he exactly hid anymore, they weren't exactly a point of pride either. The looks and question he got had come to be quite annoying and he'd rather spend time on the treadmill then deal with it. Deciding to risk it he slipped on his trunks and a long sleeved shirt before slinging his gym bag over his shoulder and heading to out the door. As he suspected the place was empty and we quickly stripped down, leaving his things in the locker room. The pool appeared to be unoccupied until he reached the edge to dive in. Someone was deep beneath the water and not surfacing for air. There were very few people this could be and he had a strong suspicion there was a shark in the water. As the man surfaced Asher lowered himself down onto the edge of the pool so his legs hung into the water. "No pumpkin carving for you either William?"
