Listening about how Brian was happy with Tessa, it made Emily smile. She loved hearing about couples getting together. Love was so important to Emily, and she always so happy when others found it. Somehow, it gave her hope for her own future, and perhaps finding love. Emily had dated before, sure, but very infrequently and they had never been serious. They were fleeting things that Emily knew, at one point or another, would end. She would see it, and then just let it play out until it ended. It made it easy for her to have relationships and break ups, because she was always prepared, but as a whole, her dating life was severely disappointing. That's great. I haven't spoken to either of them much lately, I'm so happy they're together!
When the clothes were confirmed, she nodded and closed the door behind her. She was more than capable of changing - that's what tags and things were for, and she knew her body well enough. The outfit she had chosen was put on and assembled quickly. The sunglasses were in the pocket of the coat, and she took them out to place them softly atop her head. Once she was satisfied that everything was on and in the right spot, she left the room and rejoined Nikolai in the bathroom, knowing he would be the artist to put the finishing touches on her canvas of a face. She had seen, in retrospective images, the make-up Nikolai had done for her before. It was perfect. I can never thank you enough for doing my make-up. Even if I could see, I doubt I could do it as well as you do.
