"Dear, darling, honey..." Eli lent off the door frame and shrugged slowly and deliberately, blue eyes fixed on Charls, head tilted slightly back so as to allow him to look at the man proper. The brief smile and accompanying laughter was entirely unexpected but Eli did not allow himself to be caught up with that.
Instead he pointed slightly at his neighbor, all but grinning now. "See, if we were you would know my use of the word isn't entirely left field."
Eli let his arm drop, not forgetting about the mess behind him but instead keeping his attention fixed on Charls. His eyebrows did raise and Eli gave a little shake of his head, dark hair flopping lazily with the action. "Oh, come now. We're both adult's and only the smaller margin of me is hydrokinetic. Water normally is pulled into me, not out...which sort of makes electrocution hard." He paused, still grinning at Charls, teeth exposed from it and blue eyes unyielding. "Unless that's your aim, and I'm sure we could make arrangements."
