WHO: Conall Clancy, Cora Burton, & Charls Goodwyn
WHAT: Centurion/Syndicate run-in (damsel not-so-in-distress?)
WHEN: Jan. 18, evening
WHERE: Subway stop
RATING: Medium (for likely violence)
STATUS: Closed/Incomplete
Conall had gotten the call for a student in distress while he was in the middle of a Call of Duty marathon. He didn't even get to notify his team before he shut everything down and raced to get some pants on. It helped that he could work everything electronic at the speed of thought, though, because he belatedly sent a message to his team telling them work had drawn him away. As he dressed, he finished the rest of the message. Cora Burton had been separated from the group she had gone out with and he was needed to go retrieve her to make sure she returned safely. Internally, he groaned. He would never turn down a student in need, but he knew that this would be nowhere near fun. And not because unknown assailants might try to attack or kidnap them, but because he was probably the last person Cora wanted to see. That was clear from their last several interactions.
The message indicated she was not in immediate danger, so Conall took the usual sort of transportation, instead of using his abilities. There was no need to draw undue attention with an accidental sighting. After parking his vehicle in the nearest garage, he made his way to the subway stop where Cora was supposed to be waiting. As soon as he caught sight of her, he called out to her, "Cora." His tone was sterner that he meant, and he winced internally. He wasn't trying to sound like an ass, but he really didn't want her to give him shit right now.
