"You're very right. Sooo many guys can hardly string two sentences together, let alone like, a whole paragraph the way you can." She was teasing, obviously. But it was also kind of true. Alec wasn't the best with words but he would talk until you understood what he meant. At least he would with her, which was good enough for Lenore. He tried, and that was what was the most important. And she trusted him, wholly. Everyone else had broken her trust, but not him. And she trusted that he wouldn't, ever. "How did I ever get so lucky. I am just some dumb girl with a unnecessarily intense competitive streak."
He went ahead and put down hard which almost made her burst out into laughter. She looked at the board and then up at him and rose a brow slightly. "Are you trying to tell me something, Alec?" She asked, placing the word M O I S T on the board off the T from her previous word, a smirk still resting easily on her lips eyes glancing up at him in an extremely suggestive way.
