Leo was letting him in, Liam realized with an inward sigh of relief, that was at least a better sign than he’d expected. He ran a hand through his hair, and tried to flash his brother a smile that didn’t quite make it up to his eyes. “Well, yeah, you’re my brother and despite what… I’ve already shown you, I’m going to be here when I think you might need me.” He gave him a bit of a lopsided smile.
Liam was never a particularly emotional person, which might have been odd for someone who had the ability to alter others emotions. When one might have typically hugged Leo, Liam simply put his hand on his brothers shoulders and squeezed a little bit. “I thought… the conversation might be better in person.”
