"I'm a huge liar." He said, and that was pretty truthful. Aleksei may not be an asshole and lie about shit he shouldn't, but when it came down to it, he lied about a lot of little things to make people laugh. He embellished stories to sound cooler than they were to keep people interested and entertained. It was never just, I tripped down the stairs it was, i was walking down the stairs telling a joke and my abilities went all crazy and then someone ran past me and I SWEAR I saw an astral project, totally looks like a ghost right? And I missed the next step and WHAM. Far more interested. "Glad to know my southern charm is good for somethin', though." He rose an eyebrow at her suggestively, laughing.
"That'd be cool. Comic books are a hard find now a days, especially on campus. Not as many of us are huge nerds like I was hoping." Really, because he thought they were all real life x-men, he had been hoping for a more socially inept group of people, more like he had been before coming to Willowbrook, and for a while after coming.
He was absolutely floored when she said her advantage was boobs. Not that she was wrong, but the fact that she had said it made him burst into laughter. "You're absolutely right, Layla. You have boobs and that is a huge, HUGE advantage when sparring against a man. But I think I'll manage to ignore them for just a few moments, enough to win at least." This boy did have a bit of a competitive streak in him. More in talk than in all actuality, though.
And there it was - the blushing he could really catch. It made him smile, and maybe, he blushed a little too.
