"Ah, no wonder sometimes you speak so proper. Especially in class." Which, to be honest, he had made fun of her for once or twice. But never to her face, because Aleksei wasn't that much of an asshole. Even though talking behind someone's back could be even worse. But then, he made fun of himself too and everyone else. If it got a laugh, well... Aleksei was going to say it. Because entertaining people meant more to him than pretty much anything else. He hated being bored, and he hated when other people were bored. Another reason why he spoke a lot during movies. Because sometimes slow parts in movies could be boring, too. He laughed at her mention of how he was like an Old Southern Gentlemen from those movies, aside from the cursing. "I bet in real life those old Southern Gentleman swore up a storm. I know they did, because I lived with a bunch of 'em."
It was true - his grandpapa, his grandpapa's friends, his uncles and everybody despite how gentlemen-ly they seemed to the women in their lives, were like sailors when no one else was around. All very surprising until you got to know them. Aleksei had to laugh at her mention of Ras - not because that was funny, but because yeah, she probably couldn't be surprised. Rasui was a weird dude, and pretty unpredictable. He forgot sometimes that they were related, they seemed so different. "Right. Maybe I would lose that bet, then."
He still wasn't believing her on her being some sort of bad person until she went on to say how she could totally be recruiting him to the dark side and he wouldn't even know it. "Oh man, you're right. They should really be using you already to recruit to the dark side - you had me at extra cookies." He nodded his head, like he was defeated and okay with it. "But yeah - I mean, I did some... questionable things when my powers weren't so controlled." Like drop people from very high heights and cause broken bones, etc. "I still think you might be being too hard on yourself, though."
