[SYN] WHO: Cordelia McGuiness + Ryan Roarke WHAT: Geeking out over Scottish stuff. WHEN: Midday, December 26, 2013 WHERE: T.V Lounge RATING: Low STATUS: Ongoing
Cordelia was bored. She had found herself getting more and more bored as time went on. Chance didn't seem to want to talk to her ever, despite how much she was trying. She spent a lot of time with Flo, but Cordelia needed a break. Not because Flo was overwhelming or anything, but because the unrequited love feels for her were a bit depressing. Flo had no idea that Cordelia even liked her, but if she did... well. Delia was pretty sure Flo wouldn't know what to do with those feelings, but returning them would probably not be an option.
So, she was by herself today. No one really seemed to keen on going outside and doing anything snow related. Ice skating was out - she'd tried to get Flo to do that before and although the girl had gone, she was pretty sure she didn't have fun at all. And Cordelia really didn't have many other people she considered good enough friends at Seagram Tower that she would want to go and invite out to do things. So instead she decided to go hang around some of the tower's more common areas, and see who she could maybe run in to.
The first stop had been for coffee, and after she had gotten herself a nice warm drink and a muffin, she made her way to one of the televison lounges. She really hadn't gone to one in a long time - in fact, the first and one of the only times she had hung out in a television lounge had been when she met Flo, and had nearly hurt the poor invisible girl because she had had no idea she was there. Her pale skin, normally glowing a little because of her own ability, seemed dreadfully dull on this boring day, and you could tell at first glance she was looking kind of down as she sat on the couch, muffin and tea in front of her.
The television was turned on, but she just flipped idly through the channels, her eye not catching anything particularly exciting until Marchlands came on. A marathon! She had seen some of it before, but never really got to watch the whole thing. Sitting back, she curled up on the couch with her coffee and started watching.
