Alec smirked. It'd been a while since Lenore had hit him. He couldn't help staring at her. The way she scrunched her nose, the way she ate, the way she defended the gift he'd given her. It was beautiful. He'd missed it and he hadn't even realized it. "My ass isn't just thoughtful, it's thought provoking," he said with the utmost seriousness, because she was getting heavy again, which was to be expected - it was a heavy gift. There was a heavy thought behind it. She loved it for what he'd meant it to be. But damn was it depressing.
"We can lay here all day," he pointed out. "It's Christmas Eve. We don't have classes." He didn't feel like going to the Christmas dinner. He didn't feel like being around people. Laying around was literally the high light of this holiday. "We could start a cuddle puddle - that's what you call it, right? And watch cartoons. There is literally nothing of necessity outside of this room."
